The Eagle's Talons successfully invade and conquer the former Republic of the Sphere world of Ibstock within 48 hours of landing.[1] The combined arms formations of the Protectorate made good use of the Testudo Siege Tank in at least one engagement, with Protectorate infantry forces using the tanks to rout a militia infantry regiment and their BattleMech support at Porstmouth Gorge, despite being significantly outnumbered.[2]
