Beta Galaxy was a front line formation. In 3059 it was destroyed on Priori during the Burrock Absorption. The survivors of the fighting were transferred in to other units as replacements.[2]
In 3075 the Galaxy was re-formed and was dropped on to New Kent as part of the multi-Clan force of the Clan Steel Viper Annihilation. They led the way in the approach to the planet, ground batteries opened fire on their DropShips killing saKhan Schmitt and much of the 258th Crimson Guard.[3]
After the Viper annihilation the Galaxy was rebuilt in 3082 they were stationed in the Colleen system. Here in 3083 they came under attack by forces of both Clan Stone Lion and Clan Coyote; taking heavy casualties as they were pushed out of defensive enclaves. They stood at roughly forty percent strength in 3084 when the Star Adders called for a Trial of Absorption and by the end of the year had been destroyed.[1]
