A former Star League Defense Force WarShip left derelict in the Inner Sphere after the fall of the Star League, the Blake's Redemption was salvaged by the Free Worlds League and Word of Blake as a part of a reclamation program that began in 3054. By 3057 the Vincent Mk. 39-class corvette had been repaired, refurbished and gifted to the Word of Blake, who had pressed her into service as the WoBS Blake's Redemption.[1]
Alongside another former SLDF vessel gifted to the Blakists, the Essex-class destroyer WoBS Deliverance, the Blake's Redemption was responsible for raids on the ComStar fleet bases at Luyten 68-28 and Ross 248 as well as neutralizing ComStar's WarShip fleet during Operation ODYSSEUS, the Blakist invasion of Terra. The Blake's Redemption jumped into Ross 248 where it engaged at least the Dante-class CSV Narbonne while the Deliverance targeted Luyten 68-28. Both WarShips suffered heavy damage yet were able to delay the intervention of the ComStar WarShip Fleet at Terra before jumping out again, their primary mission. With the Titan Yards still in ComStar hands, they were forced to limp back to the Free Worlds League for repairs.[1]
By 3067 the Blake's Redemption was one of half a dozen WarShips publicly known to be in service with the Blakists,[2] although the Blake's Redemption was actually part of a much larger black water navy assembled in secret.
The Word of Blake launched a raid on Donegal between the 14th and 17th of March 3068 with support from Blakist WarShips or Pocket WarShips.[3] The WoB deployed the Blake's Redemption, and with precise marksmanship with its capital ship weapons and a few nuclear devices was able to reduce to rubble in less than two days Nashan Diversified's and Lockheed/CBM's complexes, and all key infrastructure and landmarks of the planet's major cities despite a fervent resistance by the 1st Donegal Jaegers aerospace wing. After that the ship went silent though still in orbit.[4]
In 3070 a small Lyran Alliance relief force attempted to break Blakist blockade of Donegal; led by the Fox-class corvette LAS Ian McQuiston, the relief force was forced to withdraw by the Blake's Redemption.[5]
Serving with the Blakists through the Jihad, the Blake's Redemption was destroyed in the Circinus system on 2 April 3081 by a task force from the Principality of Regulus.[6][7]
