Caroline Seng was an officer with the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces and later the Senior Colonel in Command of the St. Ives Military Command.

In 3025, Seng served as the Commanding Officer of the Second Battalion of First St. Ives Lancers.[1]
After the formation of the St. Ives Compact, Caroline was promoted to military advisor to Prime Minister Candace Liao. In 3054, she was promoted to James Vaughn's post as Senior Colonel of the St. Ives Military Command, a position she held until the absorption of the Compact. In 3060, she brought together SIMC regimental commanders to draft the basic specifications for the Cossack in an effort to bring more reconnaissance ability to the military. After the absorption, she continued to serve Duchess Liao as her military advisor, though she refused to acknowledge her equivalent rank of Jiang-jun, instead steadfastly wearing her SIMC uniform and rank. This defiance was technically allowed as Seng was no longer part of the military command, but now a civilian advisor to the Duchess.[2][3][4][5]
