Cassandra Raines was a member of the Kittery Renaissance.

Growing up as an orphan, she joined the Kittery Renaissance group.
She was captured by Ghost Knight of the Republic Mason Dunne under the name of Sam Donelly. He wanted her to work for the Republic of the Sphere or die. She accepted to work for the Republic.
During that conversation, Cassandra was told that her grandmother was a ROM counterintelligence operative that fought against the Blakists both before and during the Jihad, and that her parents were Ghost Knights, murdered by neo-Blakists. And that after that, she had been placed with a special family who would care for her.
She was sent to a safe house on Geneva, on Terra.[1]
