The Chosen were a religious sect, an offshoot of the One Star Faith, believing in the genesis of a new golden age.[1]
Overview[edit]
The Chosen were responsible for a number of violent pro-Clan demonstrations on Republic of the Sphere worlds. The group's leader, a descendant of the One Star Faith prophet Egan Telosa, disastrously tried to merge his followers with the Clan Wolf enclave on Sheratan circa 3133 and has not been seen in public since then.[1]
Views and Opposition[edit]
The Chosen held that the Clans are destined to rule humanity in a new Golden Age. Their beliefs were a medley of esoteric borrowings from and interpretations of Clan culture, mixed with syncretic mysticism. They wanted to replace the Republic with a Clan-led theocracy.[1]
