The traditional-minded Clan Jade Falcon treated their captives with the same attitude as their homeworld counterparts. The Falcons would settle on attacking the Lyran half of the Federated Commonwealth (later renamed as the Lyran Alliance). The Jade Falcons were brutal and quick to put down oppression on any world they conquered. Despite the harsh treatment of their labor caste in the Inner Sphere, they still respect their captives to such an extent, that they gave them a high standard of living. Although they would still impose their traditionalist views upon their captives.

History[edit]

Operation REVIVAL[edit]

The forces of the Federated Commonwealth and any other defenders were no match for the Jade Falcon Clan. As expected, the superiority of their technology allowed the Jade Falcons to cut through the Inner Sphere forces like a hot butter knife across every world they encountered. Their progress came to a halt with the sudden news of ilKhan Leo Showers' death at the hands of the Inner Sphere. While the Smoke Jaguars were at a loss for words on Showers' passing, the Jade Falcons gave them an opportunity for anger by pointing the finger at Ulric Kerensky. Both Clans agreed to nominate the Warden Wolf as ilKhan, hoping to pin all the responsibilities of the invasion on him, but it backfired on both Clans. As a "thank you" to both the Smoke Jaguars and Jade Falcons for electing him as ilKhan, Ulric sent rival Clans, Nova Cat and Steel Viper to their Occupation Zones respectively to support them as reserve Clans.

Hegira War[edit]

Even after the Great Refusal, Clan Steel Viper continued to become a thorn in the side of Clan Jade Falcon. The Falcon's "Viper problem" was dealt with after Steel Viper Khan Perigard Zalman insulted Falcon Khan Marthe Pryde for allowing freeborns into her touman. Responding to this disrespect, Marthe challenged Perigard to a Trial over it, starting what would be known as the Hegira War. Over the course of the war the Steel Vipers lost ground and their worlds to the Jade Falcons. The climax came when Khan Zalman himself led the charge in facing Clan Jade Falcon, only to be met against Diana Pryde - The Daughter of Legendary Hero, Aidan Pryde. As the two fought each other, Perigard was defeated against a freebirth he had despised. Diana offered the fallen Viper Khan hegira, which he accepted, as all remaining Steel Viper would leave the Inner Sphere. With Clan Steel Viper ejected from the Inner Sphere and their former worlds under their control, the Falcons could breathe easier as they could now focus their sights on Terra once more.

Civil War and Jihad Era[edit]

Although Clan Jade Falcon would enjoy a considerable boon from both their resources from the Clan Homeworlds and their own Inner Sphere-held worlds, their good fortune would eventually end. After Brett Andrews became ilKhan of the Clans, he would begin a campaign to purify clans who were deemed tainted by their contact from the Inner Sphere. This would be known as the Wars of Reaving as both Home and Invading Clans would fight among each other in clan space. During the Reavings, many Jade Falcon holdings and productions were targeted by their hated rival, Clan Steel Viper as a way to purify the Clan Homeworlds. With a majority of Jade Falcon worlds and resources destroyed or taken by other clans, they would retreat to their occupation zone in the Inner Sphere. Having successfully pushed the Jade Falcons, the Clan was considered abjured by the Home Clans. Due to their diminishing resources in the Jihad Era, they would rebuild the Blackjack School of Conflict on the titular world renaming it as the "Jade Falcon School of Conflict on Blackjack". It would become a huge success for the Jade Falcons as new students graduated in 3079.[2]

Dark Age Era[edit]

During the Dark Age Era, the Falcon worlds remain mostly untouched until Khan Malvina Hazen took command of the Jade Falcon Clan. She set about using the Horses' Mongol Doctrine to inspire fear and awe into the worlds that she conquered. Although she has conquered many Lyran worlds, her path halted after a failed attempt to claim Hesperus II sidelined her. The Hell's Horses would break from the alliance and conduct Operation NOYAN to purify the Mongol Doctrine to its original purpose and taking five worlds from both the Falcons and Rasalhague Dominion. During the Battle of Terra, Khan Hazen competed in the ilClan Trial to claim Terra, moving any available warriors to depart towards Terra. The Horses, however were not done, they enacted Operation Stampede to take advantage of the Falcon worlds while at the same time, punish Malvina and her Falcons for abusing their doctrine.

ilClan Era[edit]

After the ilClan Trial, Clan Jade Falcon was fractured as a whole. The Falcons who were on Terra were reformed into an honor guard Clan led by Khan Stephanie Chistu. Elsewhere, the Lyran Commonwealth and Clan Hell's Horses took advantage of the Jade Falcon's former worlds in a zone known as "The Hinterlands". Although some Lyran defectors would for their own nations such as the Vesper Marches and Tamar Pact. Many Falcon warriors and merchant caste members also formed their own states to fill the Clan's absence such as the Turkina Ascendancy and the Alyina Mercantile League respectively. Clan Hell's Horses on the other hand, took their anger out on the reborn Star League by redirecting Operation Stampede into taking Falcon worlds. This operation continued until the Falcon remnants, led by Khan Jiyi Chistu, defeated the Horses on Sudeten, halting their annexation of the world and conquest to a standstill.
