The Crowned Lion was a Vincent-class corvette which served in the Hegemony Armed Forces black water navy as the THS Crowned Lion.[1]
In 2433,[2] the THS Crowned Lion was under the command of Captain Jacob Cameron when the Director-General of the Terran Hegemony, Richard Cameron, died of a heart attack. Captain Cameron was the next in line to the title, and as such went on to become the eighth Director-General of the Hegemony.[1]

The Vincent class of corvettes was introduced to service in 2432 as a replacement for a number of older classes of WarShip including both the Bonaventure and Vigilant classes of corvette.[3] The date on which Jacob Cameron became Director-General while commanding the Crowned Lion suggests that she was one of the first ships of her class to enter service.
