Description[edit]

Originating from presidential order on independent world of Epsilon Eridani, the Dillinger Police Vehicle was created to aid the planet during the chaotic time period when the world was part of the Chaos March.[1][2]

With production beginning in 3059 at Kressly Warworks's factory, the vehicle was created for the Police forces across Epsilon Eridani to help combat the increased criminal presence on the planet. Then-planetary president Pierre Benton had ordered the vehicle made by the local factory to help police boost their presence in the planet's various cities.[1][2]

The vehicle served part façade and part support in many roles. Principally it can serve as Mobile HQ for law enforcement, using the vehicle to move its troops into crime-ridden areas. The vehicle proved popular, and was exported to various worlds by the Jihad in the Word of Blake Protectorate as well as in the Free Worlds League prior to the conflict.[1][2]

Equipment and Capabilities[edit]

Built on an armored chassis, the vehicle is protected by two tons of heavy industrial-grade armor which would allow it to survive a brief shootout if the vehicle should come under fire by criminals using military-grade weapons. The vehicle is powered by a fusion engine, giving it an unlimited range in terms of distance. To serve its primary task, the vehicle comes mounted with an Infantry Compartment for transporting law enforcement personnel. The vehicle is also equipped with a ton's worth of communications equipment to coordinate police and other agencies at "hot spots". Lastly, the vehicle carries paramedic equipment, fitted to the vehicle to help render aid to any injured individuals.[1][2]

For self-defense purposes the vehicle has four military-grade Machine Guns. These weapons are mounted front, sides and in a turret. The guns are fed from a ton of ammunition located in main body of the vehicle.[1][2]

Cargo[edit]

Engineers also designed the vehicle to carry up to five tons in a cargo bay (with a door in rear) to help carry equipment and other supplies for the vehicle's users.[1][2]

Notes[edit]

As of this writing, the Dillinger has no record sheet nor battle value assigned to it.
