Paramedics are common to all armed forces of the thirty-first century, attached to combat squads in order to provide battlefield first aid for wounded soldiers. The medics of the Magistracy Armed Forces are well known for their skills, able to preserve the lives of wounded soldiers until they can be transported to a field hospital. The Magistracy is also notable for providing a higher ratio of medics per troopers (1:7) compared to other states (1:20).
The two paramedics in the squad are protected by five soldiers carrying Federated Long Rifles.
