The Glasgow was the Model 97 "Octopus"-class DropShip owned and operated until at least 3067 by the mercenary unit known as The Medusans and which headed up the Medusans' technical elements. The Glasgow was itself supported by a clutch of cargo ships, though when needed these cargo ships would also serve as tankers, and was a part of the Medusans' Command and Support Squadron under the overall command of Admiral John Jellicoe.[1]
