'Glenn Edenhoffer was an Arena Gladiator fighting for Oonthrax Stables and its successor Skye Tigers Stables in the Solaris Games.

History[edit]

In 3051 Glenn Edenhoffer was fighting for Oonthrax Stables and ranked 20th in Solaris Top Twenty. He was totally unknown only a year ago, when he was an art student. His speed in the Unlimited Class caught the attention of many fans. Though he lost an occasional match, even in defeat he showed a talent that may someday bring him greater fame.[1]

In early 3054 he was the first rival of Kai Allard-Liao from the Top Twenty, and like the rest he fought during three months, he lost to him.[2]

On 9th April 3056, Glenn was teamed with Victor Vandergriff for a fight against Kai Allard-Liao in a Penetrator and Galen Cox in a Crusader. Victor came close to overcoming his opponents, but Kai skillfully destroyed his 'Mech's gyro, defeating him and then Glenn shortly afterwards.[3]

In the wake of his humiliating defeat, Edenhoffer hungered for a rematch to redeem his honor only find himself blocked, first by the assassination of Cox and then Duke Ryan Steiner. Wallowing in his depression, Edenhoffer became convinced that Kai Allard-Liao had ordered the death of Ryan Steiner purely to deny him a rematch, focusing on how to thwart the Grand Champion. Learning that Kai was gathering warriors for a secret mission and knowing that Tormano Liao would be interested in this, Edenhoffer called Liao's estate to pass this information on, though ultimately it never reached him.[4]

Edenhoffer would die at some point after this, with commentator Julian Nero reflecting more fondly upon the career of the deceased Ederhoffer despite his disappointing performance against Allard-Liao and Cox instead of than the Zombie Victor Vandergriff's first round victory over Stephen Neils during the 3062 Solaris Grand Tournament.[5]

Tactics[edit]

Glenn Edenhoffer was completely unpredictable. This alone has at times been sufficient to throw off opponents long enough for him to win, though cautious rivals have been able to counteract this. Fortunately for Edenhoffer, most of his opponents have succumbed.[1]

BattleMechs[edit]

From 3051 to 3056 Glenn Edenhoffer was piloting a Stalker.[1]
