Goran Tevdt was commanding officer of the Grave Walkers from 3068 to 3071.[citation needed]
The unit's reputation had suffered since the Falcon Incursion, and when its commander Lieutenant Colonel Goran Tevdt, who had become a drunkard due to his nervous breakdowns, signed a contract with Blackstone BattleMechs Limited to raid the Falcon capital world of Sudeten, the unit rebelled and removed Tevdt from command and put the only remaining ranking officer, Captain Robert Prather of the Grave Walker Minelayers, in command.[citation needed]
At the urging of his men, Prather petitioned Lt. Colonel Daniel Allard of the Kell Hounds to allow his unit to disband and join the ranks of the Hounds. However, Allard refused on the grounds there were others units waiting to join the Hounds. Instead he offered a contract to augment Arc-Royal's defenses, which Prather accepted.[citation needed]
He'd become a major by 3071, when the unit expanded into two battalions.[citation needed]
