Hansen Brubaker was an officer with the Wolf's Dragoons mercenary unit.

Early Career[edit]
Brubaker was initially an infantryman, an affiliation he still proudly displayed in his later years, by way of a patch on his uniform.[1][2] However he first came to greater attention as a MechWarrior during the Dragoons' deep penetration raid on Hesperus II in 3019 while under Marik employ, when he led a light lance that managed to cross enemy lines seemingly at will.[3]
Special Recon Group[edit]
Despite the fact Brubaker didn't participate in the 3028 Battle of Misery,[4] as of 3030 when he was in his late forties, then Major Brubaker had been promoted to be the commander of the Special Recon Group of Wolf's Dragoons. At that stage he was reputed to be quiet and reserved, despite being one of the best scout leaders in the Inner Sphere.[5]
Dragoons Contract Command[edit]
By February 3053, Hansen had taken over running the Dragoons' Contract Command, still with the rank of major.[1] Acting in that role in 3054, he was called on to adjudicate foul play during a practice battle between the Black Thorns mercenary unit and a Dragoons unit, being scrupulously fair to non-Dragoon soldiers.[6]
BattleMech[edit]
Brubaker was known to pilot a Wasp BattleMech.[5]
