Heather Coleman was the commanding officer of the Falling Skies, the aerospace force assigned to the Ryuken-san between 3059 and 3067.[1][2]
She was a graduate from the Aerospace and Interstellar Institute with high scores, and there were rumors of various exploits in which she was engaged during her academy years. Circa 3058, she was rumored to have docked with an undocumented clan's WarShip for the purpose of engaging in a simulator battle with one of their pilots.[1]

Heather Coleman is likely an homage to Loren Coleman's wife of the same name, as well as a Playtester for MechWarrior, 3rd Edition and Classic BattleTech RPG.
