The Imbros Protectorate Militia Division is one of the many militias raised by Word of Blake to defend the Word of Blake Protectorate. The unit was deployed in Imbros III. As of 3075 it was the only unit raised from this planet.[1]
History[edit]
In 3069 the 32nd Galedon Regulars was attacked by the WoB mercenary unit Mobile Fire while they were on Imbros III. Near constant suborbital attacks and artillery strikes devastated the DCMS unit, eventually breaking it.
After that incident, the Imbros Protectorate Militia Division was created. Clan Wolf forces assigned to Operation SCOUR destroyed the Blakist garrison in an unauthorized attack on Imbros in late January 3077.
As a side note, the survivors of the 32nd Galedon Regulars spent most of the Jihad in Word of Blake reeducation camps on planet and after Clan Wolf's attack, took advantage of this and re-equipped themselves with Blakist gear. They were moving out to liberate other camps when Clan Wolf's aerospace fighters strafed the DCMS unit thinking they were some remains of the Imbros Protectorate Militia unit starting a counterattack. The few survivors of the unit contacted the DCMS High Command afterwards.[2]
