Kamaro Kurita was the father of Shiro and Urizen Kurita, founders of the Draconis Combine.[2]

Kamaro was a strict disciplinarian and devout follower of the seventeenth-century Japanese samurai culture who ensured the upbringing of his children reflected this structured spartan existence. He valued swordsmanship and martial arts training and ensured his children were fully educated in the arts of literacy and statesmanship.[1]
