Kerndon was a Clan Smoke Jaguar officer during the destruction of the Clan.

Early Life[edit]
Kerndon was part of the Golden Fang Sibko, training on Huntress.[1]
Trial of Position[edit]
On 19 February 3056, Kerndon's Trial of Position was held, where he defeated a Summoner, a Mad Dog and a Timber Wolf to achieve the rank of Star Captain.[1]
After his Trial of Position, Kerndon was assigned to Tau Galaxy a newly formed unit on Wayside V, commanding a Binary.[2]
Shortly after, the planet was attacked by a regiment of Northwind Highlanders, under contract to the Draconis Combine. Kerndon's binary happened to be deployed very close to the Highlander drop point. His unit launched an attack against the Combine forces, whose DropShip had crashed. They were attacked from the rear by Highlanders forces and quickly defeated. Kerndon's 'Mech was downed by the Highlander officer Loren Jaffray.[3]
Kerndon was taken as a bondsman by Jaffray. Kerndon's assistance was pivotal towards the Highlanders masquerading as a Smoke Jaguar Binary, an action that would eventually lead to the Highlanders' success on Wayside V. [4]
BattleMechs[edit]
Kerndon's BattleMech during his Jaguar career was a Warhawk.[5]
