The Kokpekty Maru was a JumpShip of unspecified class, associated with House Kurita.
"A couple years ago" prior to 3072 (and implicitly, at some point after 3065) the Kokpekty Maru was seized and ravaged by space pirates, leaving it a gutted hulk in space. The crew were spaced. A three-second video clip from a security camera was recovered that showed one of the raiders, tentatively identified as notorious space pirate Tammy "Angles" Chen who was thought to have vanished in 3059 in a misjump of the Queen of the Void. Combined with the unreliable account of pirate Peter Welton and a reported sighting of the Queen of the Void in or shortly before 3065, the Kokpekty Maru incident suggests Angles was not killed but merely held in jump stasis for several years when the Queen of the Void misjumped, and that she continued her pirate career afterwards.[1]
The location where the Kokpekty Mary was left as a gutted hulk was not indicated, but circumstantial evidence suggests it to be near the Draconis Combine/Outworlds Alliance border.
