History[edit]

Seeker Movement[edit]

Following his elevation to Loremaster of the Goliath Scorpions, Lan Kirov continued to follow the path set down by the previous Loremaster Ethan Moreau. He enlisted several warriors of his Clan into his group known as the Seekers. Kirov's Seekers dedicated the movement towards rebuilding the Star League through knowledge by collecting ancient treasure. His group would be independent from their parent Clan. He was responsible for creating the substance known as necrosia, a potion that allowed the user to see visions of Star League relics.[1]

During this time, the Seekers would make the Temple of Nine Muses their operation grounds and don scarlet uniforms.[1]

With Kirov's Seeker Movement, he would also institute unique to the Seekers. Lan would create a living heraldry system reflection the Seeker lifestyle. He created familiars, pets animals on different warriors that represents the individual warrior. He also created various bondsmen based around the living herald system known as charges. Yeomen are Warrior Caste bondsmen, similar to other Clan bondsmen, but act as squires for their captors. Footmen are Labor Caste bondsmen who were tasked with taking care of the warrior's pet or familiar. Tinkers are Technician Caste bondsmen who make sure the seeker's 'Mechs are in fine shape. Sutlers are Merchant Caste bondsmen. Sages are Scientist Caste bondsmen who make discoveries for the Clan. Harbingers and Artisans make art depicting the journey of the Clan.[1]

Dance of the Scars[edit]

Wary of the Seeker movement seceding from Clan Goliath Scorpion permanently and leaving it vulnerable to Absorption by the other Clans, saKhan Jenna Scott found out about the Seekers and fought Loremaster Kirov for possession of the Seekers. As Lan Kirov admitted defeat to Jenna Scott, he noticed that the saKhan was mortally wounded. Before dying, she took the Seekers and successfully integrated them back into the fold of the Scorpions by making them swear to uphold Kerensky’s ideals as Clansmen first before seeking to reclaim the glorious history of the Star League.

Legacy[edit]

Lan Kirov's Seeker ideology would live on with Gamma Galaxy echoing their colors both in the unit and uniforms, representing themselves as the defenders of the Temple of Nine Muses. Though the Clan would replace the gray with gold. His philosophy would spread throughout the Clan and carry on, even with Wolf's Dragoons training with Vlad Dinour and teaching them about carrying familiars. With the destruction of Gamma Galaxy during the Wars of Reaving and the absorption of its survivors into Beta Galaxy, the Seeker movement would live on in Chi Galaxy (which would be renamed Seeker Galaxy) in the Scorpion Empire. Being the founder of the Kirov Bloodname House, his bloodline would produce many leaders for the Clan.
