Natalia: Okay, Foster. No one else but the Word of Blake has found a data core. We now have three, all of them taken by force from the Word of Blake. It’s like they’re following some kind of map right to these things.

Foster: I agree, Major. All I can tell you is that they’re definitely connected. That giant spider wasn’t something new, but something very old. And it was built specifically to keep that data core out of anybody’s hands.

Natalia: Watch yourself, MechWarrior. There’s no telling what they’ll throw at you next.

Natalia: Foster, are we in the pipe?

Foster: Major, the MechWarrior found something you have to see.

Natalia: Go on.

Foster: We checked the jump logs on the Jezabel. Get this, Alera’s “misjump” to Thestria wasn’t an accident at all. She took us there on purpose.

Natalia: Why would she…?

Foster: Ground batteries have us dead to rights!

Natalia: Foster, can’t you shake them?

Foster: Major, this is a DropShip. It doesn’t shake, it drops.

Natalia: You’d better find yourself something with jump jets, MechWarrior. We’re going in hot.

Foster: Here we go again...

Natalia: MechWarrior! Emergency hot drop! We need you on the ground, now! Foster will set the Icarus down beyond that ridge. We’ll get a quick recon pattern and rendezvous with the northern city.

Objective: Collect salvage to increase weapon strength.

Foster: Beware of enemy fire. Calculating best route to the city.

Objective: Enter the valley and remove any Word forces. Use extreme force.

Foster: Sir, I’m reading hostile forces right on top of you.

Natalia: So much for recon. You know what to do, MechWarrior.

Foster: I’m now reading a small number of Word of Blake units in what looks like a small cave.

Natalia: Sweep and clear, MechWarrior.

Objective: Cross the canyon and locate the city.

Foster: More Word forces, inbound!

Foster: More enemies coming on line. Looks like a lance of scout ‘Mechs. Get ready for a brawl, sir.
