Wolf's Dragoons Update

The sensitive issue of the FedCom Civil War is intruding into nearly half the contracts on MercNet. The Dragoons take no position on this matter, and remind all unit commanders that our first loyalty is to the Dragoons and our second loyalty to the highest bidder. Use discretion and burn no bridges in your unit endeavors. Commanders with personal issues that may prevent uncompromised completion of a current contract should contact Dragoon command on Outreach at once for relief and reassignment.

Northwind Highlanders Update

Our position regarding the FedCom Civil War has to this date been one of noninvolvement. Though we are not currently under contract to either faction, it has become clear to Northwind command that Archon Princess Katrina Steiner is unfit as the leader of either the Lyran Alliance or the Federated Suns, much less both. Unit commanders are urged to use great caution in selecting sensitive contracts over the coming months. Let us learn from the decimation of the Gray Death Legion under Lyran contract. The lack of care Steiner displayed for her own troops does not bode well for mercenaries under her command.

The escalating FedCom Civil War has cost us greatly these last few years. I need not remind you the GDL has paid a toll far higher than most. It is important in these trying times that we keep our heads and remember our roots. Loyalty is coin hard to recover once spent. We have pledged our support for Archon Princess Katrina Steiner, the lawful ruler of the Lyran Alliance, and will continue to see that pledge through to the end of this war. Stand strong, and pity those who stand against us!

Kell Hound Update

The escalating FedCom Civil War may soon destabilize the military forces of the Lyran Alliance to a dangerous level. Although at this time we have secured the Arc-Royal Defense Cordon (ARDC) from the recent Clan Jade Falcon incursion, it is possible that we may be needed to set right certain matters within the Alliance. Although our policy has been noninterference in the issues at hand, it has been decided by Kell Hound command that we will not support Katrina Steiner in any way. At this time, we will take no overt actions against her interests, or those of the Alliance. The possibility of future intervention has not been ruled out.
