War on New Avalon[edit]
Tancred Sandoval, commander of the Second Robinson Rangers, and a staunch supporter of Prince Victor Davion, has engaged the Third Robinson Rangers on the New Avalon continent of Rostock. Reports are scattered as to the fallout, but both sides of the conflict have confirmed open fighting on the throne world of the former Federated Suns. The two regimental combat teams clashed along the Gaveston River for several hours before the Third Robinson Rangers were driven off by an unidentified unit reinforcing Sandoval’s command. It is rumored that remnants of the Davion Light Guard were released from service on New Syrtis to join the battle in support of Davion. More on the struggle as it unfolds. With shots fired on new Avalon, most analysts say it won’t be long before this war’s outcome is decided, one way or the other.
