Mission 2

Objectives

• Protect the supply convoy

Mission Description

Beckman: We have some good news for once. We've contacted the remaining forces on Butler, and they're willing to resupply us. A shipment is on the way.

Holloway: We're moving the supplies to our landing site through a frozen riverbed, but the Jade Falcon forces are on to us. We can't allow them to intercept the supplies. We'll need them to wage this war.

Beckman: Our technicians have also had some time to study the various pieces of Clan technology you brought back, and they believe they can adapt them to our own machines. See the Quartermaster about getting your lance equipped.

Holloway: We'll begin moving the goods as soon as you're ready, Commander. There are some sensor towers in the area. If you can capture them, they will let you track Clan movements more easily.

DURING MISSION

• Don't lose any trucks
• Capture all the sensor towers

Kilo 385: This is Supply Convoy Kilo three-eighty five. We have arrived at the rendezvous point… Wasn't there supposed to be a lance of 'Mechs here to escort us?

Holloway: Kilo three-eighty five, this is HQ. Our 'Mech lance just arrived north of your position. Keep following your waypoints. They'll be with you shortly.

Kilo 385: Roger that, HQ, but tell them to hurry. Our tanks can fend off light attacks, but they can't face down enemy 'Mechs.

Kilo 385: This is Kilo 385, we've reached the nav point. It should be smooth sailing from here on in. Pass my thanks on to the Commander. That 'Mech support really saved our butts back there.

Holloway: Roger that, Kilo 385. We'll see you at the base.

David: I'm glad that's over!

Kyle: If we'd listened to much more of their whining, I might have started firing on the convoy.

Kendra: True. I haven't heard so much whining since David Lee was drafted on Winfield.

David: Yeah. Wait… Hey!
