In late 3018, after a few years stealing materials and resources from local industrial and agricultural installations, considered little more than a nuisance by regional warlords, the Crimson Inclination mobilized in force and took control of Najha utilizing a significant number of previously unknown BattleMechs. They attempted to declare Najha an independent system no longer recognizing Draconis Combine rule.[44]

The DCMS sent the Sixth Arkab Legion to liberate Najha, though many of the Inclination escaped off-world. The Internal Security Force discovered documents showing they had made a deal with House Steiner LOKI agents who had been financially propping up Crimson Inclination in order to wage a proxy war with the regional warlords. The Inclination hoped to resupply its depleted forces by meeting with LOKI agents on Marawi, but this plan was foiled by the Sixth Arkab Legion, who wiped the remaining leadership off the map and the rebellion along with it.[44]

Dark Age[edit]

In February 3107, terrorists on Najha captured an important trade delegation from the Republic of the Sphere. The terrorists secured their hostages in an old outpost dating back to the days of the Star League, and held out against security forces for twelve days within that crumbling edifice. Acting on advice from undisclosed sources, the security forces besieging the outpost—which included elements of the planetary militia and DEST troopers—launched a combined attack with snipers, artillery and mortars that killed the terrorists; unfortunately, the DEST assault team responsible for breaching the outpost walls wasn't able to gain entry in time to save the life of the senior ranking negotiator from the trade delegation before he was executed by the terrorists.[45]
