Peter King was a fighter in Solaris VII's BBL for the Star Rangers Stables.
He did participate in the 3086 Championship.
In the tenth week he was ranked ninth of the Class Four Division with a 4-0-6 result.
He was paired for the eleventh week match against Lee Lumley in his Crusader. With both warriors using LRM-heavy 'Mechs, a long-range duel was expected. After the first three missile volleys exchanged, Lumley's Crusader clearly looked worse off. Lumley moved to cover, but King was patient, using his Archer's heavier missile launchers to pound Lumley whenever he showed himself. After twenty minutes, the Crusader was little more than a blackened shell, forcing Lumley to admit defeat.[1]
He was able to escalate to the eighth place after week twelve matches.[2]
He was paired for the thirteenth week against David Sanada, the Wyren Claws' Stables team captain. It was a slugging match, with Sanada's Orion hammering autocannon rounds into his 'Mech's left leg. The resulting damage wreaked both the hip and knee actuators and forced King to concede.[2]
