Life[edit]
Pia Youngblood, who was the first Youngblood woman to get a military commission in 2439, the year the Hegemony Armed Forces developed the WorkMech into the BattleMech, changing the face of combat forever.
Pia was decorated for bravery during the Lyran commando raids on Terran 'Mech production facilities on Hesperus II that spread the new technology throughout the Human Sphere.[1]
Marriage and Children[edit]
Pia Youngblood was married and had at least one son or daughter. Her descendants kept the surname as her grandnephew still bore it.[1]
Death and Legacy[edit]
In one of the few remaining personal documents left by a Youngblood, Pia attributes the death of her father, Simon, on her 15th birthday as the prime motivating force that propelled her into the military.[1]
