The Raldamax system was the location of at least one habitable world or construct and as of 3145 was an independent system in the Periphery close to the border of the Raven Alliance.[1][2]

System Description[edit]

Raldamax is located near the Baliggora and Ferris systems.[3][4]

System History[edit]

The Raldamax system was either settled by the Outworlds Alliance during the Star League era at some point after the end of the Reunification War or was an already-inhabited system that became significant enough during this period for Inner Sphere nations to begin recording its location on maps.[5][3][4]

Planetary History[edit]

Star League[edit]

In 2695, a seditionist force called Land of the Free attacked the Star League Defense Force garrison on Raldamax. Unfortunately for them, their intelligence reports did not catch that the regiment sized force they were expecting had been replaced by an entire division. The 260th BattleMech Division completely destroyed the smaller rebel force and earned their unit's nickname, The Little Big Horn Division.[41]

Jihad[edit]

In September 3069, forces from Clan Snow Raven and the Outworlds Alliance attacked the Dante and retook it from the Word of Blake forces after reports linking terrorist cells apparently operating from the Alliance world of Dante with the Word of Blake were confirmed. The Snow Ravens lay siege to Dante for a week alongside units from the Alliance Military Corps. The approach taken on Dante was considered heavy-handed by a number of Alliance worlds and provoked a political crisis for Mitchell Avellar when secessionist sentiments rose sharply on a number of Alliance worlds in response. Raldamax was one of these worlds.[42][43]

Military Deployment[edit]

3079[edit]

- At this point in time, the Fifth Alliance Air Wing were deployed across Baliggora, Raldamax and Rudolpho. The Fifth Alliance Air Wing was at 55% of full strength.
