The Reinforcements: Record Sheet Book #2 supplement was created by Catalyst Game Labs as a reward item available during the BattleTech: Clan Invasion crowdfunding campaign which ran from 18 July 2019 to August 18 2019. After the campaign reached a stretch goal of US$2 million, a digital copy of Reinforcements: Record Sheet Book 1 was added the pledges of everyone who backed the campaign, while a physical copy was included automatically for every pledge at the Star Commander/$50 pledge level. Also confirmed as a part of the stretch goal was the Reinforcements: Die-Cut Pack 1, which provided a die-cut cardboard standee for each design in Reinforcements: Record Sheet Book #1, supplied to each pledge at the Star Colonel/$300 pledge.
A pledge add-on was also announced, entitled BattleTech Reinforcements: Clan Invasion which would contain physical copies of all of the Record Sheets for the 'Mechs in this campaign, as well as cardboard standees for each. It was clarified within the CrowdOx pledge manager that Reinforcements: Record Sheet Book #1 provided the record sheets for those 'Mechs contained within the BattleTech: Clan Invasion box set and the various lance and star packs released during Wave One of the campaign. The record sheets for those 'Mechs from the campaign released during Wave Two were available in this product, Reinforcements: Record Sheet Book #2, available as an add-on for $5.00, with the accompanying tie-in Reinforcements: Die-Cut Pack 2. Reinforcements: Clan Invasion will contain the equivalent of both Reinforcements: Records Sheets Books 1 & 2, Reinforcements: Die-Cut Packs 1 & 2, the BattleTech: Beginner Box and BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat, although at a higher total price than purchasing the individual elements through the campaign, but will also include a new and unique double-sided map.
