Clan Invasion[edit]
Roadside was conquered by Clan Jade Falcon during the Third Wave of Operation Revival in June 3050. When the 1st Falcon Velites landed on the planet they were not immediately confronted by the defenders. Instead of giving the invaders the open confrontation they were expected, the Roadside Militia had split up into small lance- and platoon-sized units in order to conduct surprise ambushes on individual Clan Stars. While this tactic did result in a number of losses and tied up the 1st Velites for nearly two weeks, the use of dishonorable tactics only infuriated the Jade Falcons who, in revenge, hunted down and killed every single militia member.[1]
