Description[edit]
As of 3067 the Saturnus V racing car had won the last eight Grande Circuit Challenge Series held on New Earth. This event was the most popular racing circuit in the Inner Sphere, and possibly the Invasion Corridors of Clan Wolf and Clan Ghost Bear as well. The Saturnus V is powered by a Sprauge & Charles 950 gas turbine engine.[2][3]
To protect the driver, the car has a driver ejection seat. For better handling and control, the Saturnus V uses the same biomonitoring and sensor systems used in some 'Mech cockpits.[2][3]
Equipment and Capabilities[edit]
The vehicle's storage capacity is limited to 59 kg of cargo. (1 Door (Rear))[2][3]
Notes[edit]
Features Ultra-light Chassis and Controls Modification and a driver ejection seat (100 kg).[2][3]
