In 3060, most of the 7th Crucis Lancers RCT, who were stationed on Winter at the time, embarked to an uninhabited world in the Savarin 223-74 system for maneuvers, traveling on four JumpShips with sixteen DropShips. All vessels vanished without a trace, together with all equipment and personnel carried (some 11,000 people).[1] (Based on the timing, location, and equipment involved, there is some speculation about this incident being linked to the inception of the Green Ghosts).
The exact location of the Savarin 223-74 system was not given, but circumstances suggest it would be located in the periphery beyond the Lyran Commonwealth border, relatively close to the Winter system (in what would be former Rim Worlds Republic space).
