Reunification War[edit]
In the lead-up to Operation UNION HOLD, the Star League invasion of the Outworlds Alliance, Sinope was a border world between the Draconis Combine and the Outworlds Alliance. The Star League Defense Force marshaled the Fortieth and Forty-first Brigades, part of the Fourteenth Division, V Corps on Sinope prior to the invasion; both brigades left Sinope to deploy forward to Bad News during 2581.[3][34][35]

Sinope served as the headquarters world for the XV Corps of the SLDF.[36]
Dark Age[edit]
Following the disastrous defeat of the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns at the Battle of Palmyra in June 3144, Sinope was one of three Draconis Combine worlds which was peacefully transferred to the Raven Alliance's control a month later.[30]
