Stevic Hawker was the commanding officer of Clan Wolf's Omega Galaxy commanding directly the Dark Keshik between 3063 and 3070.[1][2][3]

History[edit]

Omega Galaxy was formed in 3063,[1] formed from Warden-minded warriors transferred from other Clusters,[4] and in 3067 its Keshik was stationed on Oberon VI.[2]

His unit is deployed to hunt for an alleged remnant of the Not-Named Clan that is thought to be behind pirate strikes against Clan Wolf in the periphery. As expected, the mission turns out to be a snipe hunt, with pirate forces harassing Omega Galaxy but manage to evade attacks. "Reliable hints" only turn up empty ruins.

Along Star Colonel Nathan Wolf, he visits the HQ of the Sigurd Independent Light Assault Group, a group of (former) Oberon Confederation troops now serving as garrison forces for Clan Wolf. The garrison commander, one Bladric, evades Hawker's questions about rogue elements, leaving the impression that the Sigurd Independent Light Assault Group support rebels against the Clan Wolf regime. This in turn leads Hawker to send Elementals to the HQ, implicitly with orders to summarily execute the garrison.

Ultimately, on 11 April 3064 Omega Galaxy launches an attack against the New Belt Pirates on Novo Cressidas in the Star's End system, but suffers very heavy losses (including a Union-C-class DropShip, the Loping Wolf) from the system's defenses and severe ion storms on Novo Cressidas. Out of some thirty pirate 'Mechs, many noted to be Clan designs, around two thirds are destroyed before the rest retreats. Nathan Wolf and Stevic Hawker agree that this was the pirate force who had been harassing Clan Wolf, and that these pirates have been hurt enough to effectively neutralize them for the time being, but in light of the losses incurred they decide against pursuing the retreating pirates on their own turf.

Even claiming they've destroyed the pirated, Stevic knows that Omega Galaxy will continue to be posted to the periphery because its true purpose is to dispose of Warden-aligned Warriors within the otherwise Crusader-aligned Clan Wolf, either through combat attrition or simply by posting them to the far reaches of the periphery.[1]

The Omega Galaxy was among the first to meet Clan Hell's Horses invasion of Clan Wolf's occupation zone in November 3070. Omega's Clusters were stationed to defend the worlds of Oberon VI, Nyserta, and Paulus Prime when the Horses arrived. These elements of the Galaxy did not put a significant resistance in Trial of Possession of Wolf's worlds, seeing the invasion by the Warden Clan as means leave its parent Clan honorably.[3] It was reported that Galaxy Commander Stevic Hawker authorized each of his Clusters to conduct Harvest Trials. Through these Trials, the Omega was absorbed into the Clan Hell's Horses touman. Most notable one was fought for three weeks between the Omega's 2nd Wolf Guards Grenadiers and Horses' 77th Mechanized Cavalry Cluster.[5] The Omega's survivors became core members of the Hell's Horses newly formed Omega Galaxy.[6]

By 3085, Stevic was still the commanding officer of the newly created Omega Galaxy from Clan Hell's Horses.[7]
