Andurien Succession or War?

Question. Wasn't this a war as well. I've read alot references as being a war. Wikipedia purposes it was listed as 4th Andurien War. Is this a different take on this Mbear? -- Wrangler 00:42, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

Its yet another conflict that different factions/writers refer to by different titles; the Andurien Succession, the Andurien War, the Andurien Crisis, the 4th Andurien War are all referring to the same conflict. Cyc 01:01, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

I realize this, but multiple names maybe little confusing. There a 5th War that happned in the Dark Age between Oriente Protectorate and Andurien. All the previous wars have been numbers following sarna's naming conventions and actual canon names. However, when it gets to this war, get mucked up. I believe because people writing lost track which war they were on or they had come up with previous wars when invented Andurien one. *shrugs* Anyways, just want ask since I've got links going to a "4th Andurien War" i have to fix. -- Wrangler 02:05, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

Actually, I believe I've found actual name of the conflict. Its in Handbook: Major Periphery States, page 78 - In the Paragraph named Central Committee. The book calls it Andurien-Canopian War. Its from Canopus point view though the source book though. Can we use this as the name? -- Wrangler 23:47, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

There's more than one conflict here. There's the secession of the Duchy of Andurien from the Free Worlds League, the Canopian-Andurien invasion of the Capellan Confederation, then the FWL conquest of the Duchy. The Andurien Crisis & Secession would refer to the entire event, while the various incarnations on "War" would refer to the actual war parts. I think it's proper to leave this article here. If, down the line, it becomes necessary to split "Andurien-Canopian War" into its own article, then that can be done. Cleanup

I've added the cleanup tag because, while the article has a wealth of information, it suffers from poor formatting, making it difficult on the reader to decipher and equally difficult for follow editors to determine where to start.
