Starterbook Sword and Dragon[edit]

Starterbook Sword and Dragon was listed as a source for this article, but after reviewing the document I can't find anything new that needs to be included in the Assassin article. Therefore I've removed the update needed tag.--Mbear 18:36, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

ASN-30 Alice[edit]

Twenty double heat sinks seems unnecessary as well as overshooting tonnage and crit space. I've run the numbers through Drawing Board and it doesn't add up. I don't have the books, so I'm not can't change it, assuming it's wrong in the first place. Haruspex 09:39, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

No, your right, pulled out my copy of the PDF and it confirms only 10 double heat sinks. Person who added it probably misread 20 points of heat dissipation.Cyc 10:23, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

First combat date[edit]

The article says the Assassin first sees combat in 2980, and my copy of TRO3025 backs this up but the wording is not quite as strong as that used in the article, possibly leaving things open for earlier combat operations. The reason I believe this is important is that the idea of the entire class being sidelined through both the first and second Succession wars simply does not fit with the rest of the universe, nor with statements in article about hereditary 'Mechs.

So, do we have any canon examples of combat prior to 2980 or even errata updating the date?--Dmon (talk) 05:53, 6 September 2018 (EDT)
