Talk:Champlain

Launch date[edit]

If Champlain was a project of the Western Alliance, 3064 makes no sense for the launch date of Champlain III. The year page for 2066 claims that's when the probe was launched. Is it possible to get a fact check from the cited source, or is that fully defunct? Tosta Dojen (talk) 11:03, 7 September 2020 (EDT)

I think site if fully defunct.--Dmon (talk) 13:01, 7 September 2020 (EDT)
You can't even get at the site through the Internet Archive, from what I remember. If there's anyone who might've saved screenshots or downloads, it'd be Frabby… BrokenMnemonic (talk) 16:33, 7 September 2020 (EDT)
I'm not at home, but I wrote this. It is based on a news "BattleCorps: INN Newscast (Solaris Broadcasting Co. section), news item published [19/04/3075]: "Unexpected Visitor to Caph Creates a Stir". I'll have to check later (maybe during the weekend), but unless I made a big mistake making this, the dates are the ones explained there.--Pserratv (talk) 04:20, 8 September 2020 (EDT)
If you can double-check the source article somehow, that'd be great. I feel sure there must be an error here somewhere, because the Champlain edit and the 2066 edit both reference that source. Tosta Dojen (talk) 15:31, 18 September 2020 (EDT)
