Succession[edit]

I would submit that "Chief Administrator of Dieron HPG" is not a noteworthy position in the greater scheme of things. (Primus of ComStar certainly is.) Thoughts? ClanWolverine101

I think what you meant was that, in relation to the position of Primus, it is not as noteworthy and should not precede it on the succession box. I'd agree with that. Feel free to change the order. --Revanche (talk|contribs) 13:13, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
No, seriously. I don't think being "Chief Administrator of Dieron HPG" - while noteworthy - deserves a succession box at all. I compare it to being commander of any given military unit. As far as I can tell, we don't do that. Why should we do it for being the head of a single HPG station? (Even one as important as Dieron?) ClanWolverine101
I was gonna argue that someone (Communibus locis apparently) obviously felt it was important enough, but you did open the discussion as to whether or not it needs to remain 'important enough'. In spite of she hasn't been seen here for several months, I think it might be prudent to leave a message on her talk page, pointing out this discussion. If she doesn't weigh in within a reasonable amount of time (say 7 days?), then invoke the B-E-D method and eradicate. Wink.gif--Revanche (talk|contribs) 11:58, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Death and the ComStar War[edit]

I have noticed a slight issue with the information in the ComStar (sourcebook) that has carried over into the article. The Comstar war war resolved after Charles Marik admited defeat in the face of the Lyran offensive of August 2838 and Toyama sends out ships to restor HPG service to the FWL, yet the very same page (p. 27)in the book then goes on to state that Toyama died in April 2837. Do we have any other sources on these events that might clarify the order of events?--Dmon (talk) 15:25, 7 December 2014 (PST)
