Talk:Helm Memory Core

Content[edit]

What technologies where found in the memory core?? — The preceding unsigned comment was posted by 114.57.170.99 (talkcontribs) on 8 September 2010.

That's not spelled out anywhere. Its content includes whatever the authors and game designers later found they wanted it to contain. The memory core was a deus-ex-machina that could be used by the game designers to explain anything, sort of. Frabby 14:14, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Im reading The Warrior Trilogy again and there Riva Allard says that the core contains at least 750 Kilobytes information concerning the Kearny-Fuchida Drive. :-D That does not sound very complex to me. Harry 14:33, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Actually, more content was mentioned in William H. Keith's The Price of Glory when they found the Helm Memory Core.-- Wrangler 01:07, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Castle Brian?[edit]

As far as I remember, the Nagayan Mountain facility was explicitly not a proper Castle Brian; it was a vaguely similar facility used for various purposes before Keeler turned it into a Castle-Brian-esque weapons storage. Frabby (talk) 11:53, 14 February 2022 (EST)

The source listed is Field Manual: SLDF, p. 108, on the Nagayan Mountain Castle Brian page. If someone has that and can doublecheck, we can either confirm, or make changes. Talvin (talk) 12:07, 14 February 2022 (EST)
I asked in Discord. "While Quartermaster Command keeps a considerable supply cache at the Nagayan Mountain Castle Brian [emphasis added] on [...] Helm, High Command maintains that the cache is for emergency purposes only." from that cited page. Thanks to Josva Draugabjörn (Discord) for finding that. Talvin (talk) 12:17, 14 February 2022 (EST)
