Falcon's Reach

The Falcon's Reach was the term applied to the conquered worlds of Prefecture IX of the Republic of the Sphere that were not directly connected to the primary Jade Falcon Occupation Zone.

History

The Reach was created by the Falcon's desant operation in the year 3134 that conquered several worlds in Prefecture IX of the Republic. In theory, it was a bridgehead for the rest of the Clan to eventually invade Terra, but Khan Jana Pryde had intended it as a way to deal with troublesome rivals such as Malvina Hazen, Beckett Malthus, and Aleksandr Hazen and like-minded Falcons and had apparently not intended on following through with a larger invasion.

Following the fall of Skye and the arrival of only token reinforcements consisting of outcasts and solahma, Malvina Hazen realized Khan Pryde's deception and returned to the Falcon capital, Sudeten, to challenge her for the Khanship. She left Star Colonel Noritomo Helmer at the command of the Reach and he managed to successfully defend and hold the conquered planets. By 3145, the Reach was joined to the main Jade Falcon Occupation Zone as the Falcons carved through Lyran space in their race to Terra.
