Overview[edit]
The Thirty-fourth Royal BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XI Corps, Sixteenth Army, to District 3 of the Draconis Combine Military Region, but was moved to an undisclosed area in the Periphery in 2765, to take part in the Periphery Uprising.[2] Supported by the 568th Armed Transport Flotilla, the Thirty-fourth went AWOL after learning of the Amaris Coup.[3] The Thirty-fourth was destroyed during the Amaris Civil War in 2766[2] by Epsilon Indi's SDS system as they attempted to land on the planet. The majority of the division perished in space, with only a handful reaching the planet's surface.[4]
