History[edit]

Tyler Boyer fought in Solaris VII's BBL for Regulus Wrath Stables during the Dark Age.[1]

He was a fighter in the 3086 Championship.[1]

In the fifth week he fought against Abel Dorsey. Boyer's used his Wasp to dominate the fight from the start. The fight was ten minutes of fast-moving action when Dorsey's SRMs peppered Boyer's 'Mech, but Boyer's shots finally struck Dorsey's weakened left torso, destroying it and reduced the Commando to a single SRM-4 rack. This forced Dorsey to concede the match.[1]

After five weeks Calidia Raines was first in the Class Two division, while Tyler Boyer was second.[2]

For week six, he beat Steve Miller from Star Rangers Stables, making him Class Two division leader.[3]

For week seven he was paired against Acca Haig from Black Eagles Stables. Things between the stables were soured, and did not get better when Boyer's Stinger entered with the Regulan Hussars' emblem on its chest, while Haig's Panther, painted in Free Worlds League purple, had the House Marik eagle prominently displayed on the torso. It quickly became obvious that both had modified their 'Mechs. Boyer's lasers struck the Panther at longer than normal range (most probably being ER Laser), only to do little damage to the Black Eagle 'Mech's glazed armor. Haig fired her ER PPC and the powerful beam nearly took Boyer's head off. The next twenty-two minutes were ugly, as it became clear that each warrior was out for blood. Unable to do serious damage to the Panther quickly, Boyer kept moving to avoid Haig's weapon, but Boyer's luck finally gave out when one of Haig's PPC blasts vaporized his right leg. Boyer tried to fight on, but officials, fearing that things would get out of hand, quickly called the fight and awarded Haig the win. The Wraths filed an official protest, which would was ruled on the next week.[3] The appeal was not successful and the result of the match stood.[4]

He lost his match in week eight.[5]

Prior to week nine, Class Two Division had three rookies in it, with two of them leading the division. Kroner Kings Stables' Jean Cuvier had been on fire, winning six of his eight matches. Carlos Valdez was two points behind Cuvier and was looking to push past him that week. Cindy Santos and Tyler Boyer were a point behind Valdez, with Boyer's losses the last two weeks costing him vital points and a slide down the table.[5]

After the ninth week's results, Valdez and Cuvier were tied for first, with Tyler Boyer and a surging Lo Yen a point behind.[5]

After week twelve, the Class Two Division standings had Carlos Valdez in the top slot with 25 points, with Tyler Boyer tied with Valdez in points, but with Valdez's timing points total being superior. Lo Yen was third, while Cuvier had dropped to fourth.[6]

In week thirteen he was again paired against Abel Dorsey. From the start, Boyer drove Dorsey all across the Deep, never allowing the Commando time to set up an effective counterstrike. This one-sided fight ended with the Commando missing an arm and a leg and Boyer on top of the Class Two division.[7]

With two weeks left to the end of the year, the Class Two Division standings had Lo Yen as the leader with 48 points, followed by Tyler Boyer and Mansai Yamazaki tied for second at 40 points. Boyer held the tiebreaker based on timing points (17 points compared to Yamazaki's 14.9).
