Tetyana Zavarov was an officer with the Black Inferno mercenary command.[1]
History[edit]
In 3015, Tetyana Zavarov was among the Black Inferno forces that attacked Nik's Cavaliers' base on De Berry, serving as Andreas Kane's lancemate. Her Hunchback was cored by an AC/20 volley from Nikolai Mason after he first tore apart her center torso armor with a discharge from a pair of medium lasers, and she ejected from the battlefield.[2]
Sometime later, Zavarov was part of a garrison on Eaton III responsible for guarding a BattleMech salvage and reclamation facility. Sebastian Spears acquired information about it at high cost on the black market and offered it to the Cavaliers, now commanded by Nikolai's son Jake Mason, in exchange for a cut of whatever they could salvage there. Despite fielding a dozen or so 'Mechs, Zavarov was unable to muster a defense strong enough to repel the Cavaliers' attack because most of them were in varying states of disrepair, and she died when her 'Mech's cockpit was destroyed. Black Inferno was delt a significant blow to their operations and Spears received a healthy return on his investment.[1]
BattleMechs[edit]
Zavarov initially piloted a HBK-4G Hunchback during the assault on Nikolai Mason's base on De Berry. She would later pilot his VTR-9B Victor as a trophy-case 'Mech, using it as psychological warfare until she herself was later killed and the 'Mech was recovered by Nikolai's son.[1]
Behind the Scenes[edit]
Tetyana Zavarov was voiced by Sandra Espinoza.[3]
Note[edit]
Zavarov's first name is identified as "Tetyana" in media sources but did not get included in the game.[3]
