History

Formation

The 12th Ghost regiment was formed to keep the 11th Ghost regiment under control. The 11th Ghost, though generally loyal to the Combine, might engage in irresponsible behavior that would lead to trouble. By placing the 12th Ghost on the same world, the DCMS High Command hoped that the 11th would focus on their common enemy rather than cause trouble.[1]

Ronin Wars

War of 3039

Clan Invasion

Operation Bulldog

Dominion War

The 12th was on Numki briefly, skirmishing with both the 11th Ghost and the Ghost Bear forces.[2]

Federated Suns Incursion

The 12th assisted other DCMS forces in retaking Al Na'ir[3], and stayed on world as the garrison force.[4]

Jihad

The Twelfth Ghost regiment was on An Ting when the first survivors of the Snow Raven attack on Galedon V arrived in 3070. These refugees carried the remnants of the biological weapon used on Galedon with them, and promptly infected the world. The DCMS High Command placed the world under quarantine, and the Twelfth Ghost spent the next decade enforcing that quarantine. Since the members of the unit are likely infected by the "Curse of Galedon" it is unlikely that any member of the Twelfth will ever leave the world.[5]

After the Jihad the Ghost Regiments were officially disbanded.[citation needed]

Officers

In 3059 Tai-sa Maria Yoriama leads the command, but must fear her own troops. She has escaped three assassination attempts. Rumors suggests these action were taken because she broke all connections with her yakuza clan.[1]

In 3067 Tai-sa Mick Kodai commanded the 12th Ghost.[6]

Tactics

As a new created unit the command must find their own style to fight.[citation needed]
