History
This unit was formed after the successful actions of the 1st Taurian Lancers impressed the TDF command enough to repeat the unit experiment. By 3042, a regiment of light to medium weight 'Mechs had been assembled and paired with a regiment of heavy and assault weight tanks (Heavy LRM Carriers).[1] The new unit had little time to perfect/acquire a singular set of tactics, but was employed as a defensive unit. The 2nd Taurian Lancers and their CO William Mouat were destroyed on Midale in February of 3070 by Hansen's Roughriders. The unit's symbol was an armored bull with starbursts at the tips of his horns set over interlocking circles.
