Captain Amelia Shire was the commander of Shire's Company, Charlie Battalion, Epsilon Regiment of Wolf's Dragoons as of 3028.[1]

Shire was a member of the Dragoons since at least 3022, when as a simple MechWarrior she was horribly disfigured in a 'Mech explosion. Between then and 3028, Shire advanced to lance and then company command, having a distinguished service record.
While Shire herself became oblivious to the reactions to her injuries, her company was very protective of her, to the point of starting a fight with an LCAF officer who called her "Froggy."
During the Battle of Misery (3028), her Command Lance destroyed seven Draconis Combine 'Mechs, but in return both Shire and her lancemates died.[2]
