Angela DeChavilier-Banacek was a daughter of Star League Defense Force General Aaron DeChavilier.

Angela was Aaron DeChavilier's eldest of five children. She would join the SLDF and work her way up to the rank of colonel, which in the Regular Army meant she commanded a regiment.[1][3]
Angela DeChavilier-Banacek was assigned to XXIV Corps of the Fifth Army. In 2772, her corps was tasked with the liberation of Talitha during the opening wave of the Hegemony Campaign. The fight was difficult and costly, facing off against two brigades of Amaris forces fortified by the world's three Castles Brian and who had no compunctions using WMD against both XXIV Corps and civilian targets. The SLDF would secure the world by the end of the year, thanks in no small part to the strong civilian resistance groups, though DeChavilier-Banacek would be killed in action.[1][2]
