As Stefan Amaris was quietly preparing his pieces for a takeover of the Terran Hegemony in the mid-twenty-eighth century, he knew he needed connections to the business community in order for him to get his messages across and firm up support. He attended society soirees in the 2750s and had sought to win Bernard Conner over to his cause but instead found himself more enthralled by his wife, Aisling Connor, whose understanding of economics surpassed that of her husband and Amaris would later appoint as the Director of Economic Development in the Amaris Empire.[1]
Bernard Connor married Aisling in 2759 and in doing so broke marry hearts, as her photogenic looks and charming personality made her very popular among all social classes. For reasons unknown, they would divorce in 2765.[1]
