The Bettendorf system was the location of at least one habitable world and as at 3145 was located in the Barlow's End Prefecture of the New Samarkand Military District within the Draconis Combine.[1][2]

System Description

The Bettendorf system is located close to the Hoff and Sakhara V systems.[1][2]

The Bettendorf system was colonized during the First Exodus from Terra.[3][4]

Planetary History

First Succession War

Bettendorf was invaded during the first half of the major invasion into the Federated Suns launched by the Draconis Combine in May 2787.[14] The Federated Suns had regained control of Bettendorf at some point during the third major counter-offensive against the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery by the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns[15] although it is unclear precisely when, between the beginning of the offensive in 2811 and the end of the offensive in 2818.[46] This may indicate that Raman was abandoned by the DCMS, rather than recaptured by the AFFS.
