Founded | Reunification War |
Borderless Hope was an interstellar aid organizations, whose rise was explained in the History of Modern Non-Governmental Organizations book.[1]
History[edit]
Borderless Hope was the first major Interstellar Air Organizations. It began during the Reunification War era, and it was House Davion that formed the first IAO focused on providing aid and comfort to Periphery citizens displaced by war. Despite the ostensibly noble aim of the IAO, it was largely formed as a political tool to embarrass the Star League and its First Lord and was promptly dispatched to the Outworlds Alliance, where Forlough's bloody campaign was claiming a heavy toll on civilians.[1]
Lushann proved a source of embarrassment for Star League First Lord Ian Cameron when the first true Interstellar Aid Organization, Borderless Hope, not only had three separate aid expeditions to worlds within the Alliance refused permission to land by Amos Forlough in 2583 and 2584, but then had two dozen aid workers killed on Lushann in September 2583 when fired on by Forlough's troops.[1]
